Nancy Bunce

Nancy Ann Bunce, 82, of San Antonio, died March 28, 2019. She was born May 27, 1936, in Yakima, Washington, to Everett and Evelyn Baker. Nancy graduated from high school in Wapato, Washington; college from Central Washington State University in Ellensburg, Washington; and received her master's degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Greely, Colorado.

Nancy was an active member of First Baptist Church Universal City and a founding member of Rolling Oaks Baptist Church. She filled numerous positions in the children's Sunday school departments,

The love of her life was her family. She is survived by her husband of almost 63 years, Dean, her daughter in law Joy, son Brian and his wife Susan. Her grandchildren include Andrew Bunce and his wife Christy, Michael Bunce and his wife Emilie, Emily Trevino and her husband Matthew; and Jacobus Thompson. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren: Braden and Evelyn Bunce, Paxton Bunce, and Joshua, Levitcus, and Kathvrne Trevino. She is also survived by one sister, Shari Piestrup and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Beverly, and son Jeffrey (Joy’s husband).
