Jonathon Paul Jones

Family and friends, we gather here today to celebrate the remarkable life of our beloved, Jonathon Jones. While it is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to such a vibrant soul, let us remember that today is not just a day of sadness, but also a day of honoring an extraordinary individual and celebrating his life.

Jonathon Paul Jones, born on February 19,1993, in Germany to Paul Jones and Christa Jones. Jonathon, affectionately known as JJ to family and friends, was the first child among his siblings, Jordan Paul Jones, Jesse Paul Jones and stepsister Makita Bowen. Jonathon, sadly passed away on July 19, 2024, at the young age of 31. Jonathon was preceded in death by his father, Paul Jones.

Throughout his life, Jonathon was recognized for his remarkable qualities of compassion, forgiveness, generosity and kindness. These traits defined him as a person who always extended a helping hand to those in need and carried an empathetic heart that touched the lives of many.

Jonathon graduated from Madison High School and went to Barber college, After graduating, he worked in several Barber shops in and around San Antonio.

Jonathon was fluent speaking German and we called him a walking dictionary. He loved the definition of words. He made it a point to stay in touch with his childhood friends in Germany. He loved song writing and recorded his own songs. He was athletic, playing both basketball and soccer over his lifetime with a great passion. And he had a heart of gold, always willing to help those in need.
