Joe Teodore Rodriguez

Joe Teodore Rodriguez, age 75, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Joe was born in San Antonio, Texas to Lee H. Rodriguez and Raquel Martinez on November 9, 1947. During Joe’s free time he would play golf and cornhole. He loved spending time with his family.

Joe is preceded in death by his father, Lee H. Rodriguez; mother, Raquel Martinez; step-mother, Emma Rodriguez; and brothers, Rey Rodriguez and Lucas Rodriguez.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Irene H. Rodriguez; sons, Joe A. Rodriguez, James Rodriguez, and Rudy Rodriguez; daughters, Irene Rodriguez and Monica Rodriguez; brothers, Lee Rodriguez, Carlos Uveda, Manuel Rodriguez, Arturo Rodriguez, Abel Rodriguez, and Roger Rodriguez; sister, Diana Rodriguez; his grandchildren, John (JT), James (Matthew), Rudy, Nathan, Eric, Jason, Gabriella, Adreanna, James (Brandon), and Leah; and great grandchildren, Mia, Hudsyn, Aniyah, Masyn, and Sebastian.

Pallbearers: John (JT), James (Matthew), Rudy, Nathan, Eric, Jason, James (Brandon), and Lee.

A visitation for Joe will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148.

A rosary will occur Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148.

A celebration of life will occur Monday, September 11, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148.

A graveside service will occur Monday, September 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, TX 78266.
