George Alan Petersen passed away on August 22, 2013 at the age of 66. He was born on June 16, 1947 in Chicago, IL to William and Irma “Letzter” Petersen. George was preceded in death by his parents; survived by his loving wife Connie; daughter, Maryann; sons, David and Scott; Sisters, Linda and Mary; Brother, William; granddaughters, Krystal, Samantha, Brittani and Taylor; Grandson, Jacob; great-grandson, Joseph; and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 1:15 P.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
