Emma Jayne "Bonnie" DiPiero Schulze

Emma Jayne (Bonnie) Schulze, age 69 of Universal City passed away September 7, 2012. She was born August 6, 1943 in Youngstown, Ohio to Phil and Lucy (Marinelli) DiPiero. She graduated Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in Plymouth Meeting, PA in 1961. Bonnie received her RN degree at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio in 1964. Her nursing career included 10 years as a hospital nurse and 33 years as a School Nurse with the Judson ISD serving from 1975 – 1976 at Live Oak Elementary, 1976 – 1985 Kitty Hawk Jr. High, and 1985 – 2008 at Judson High School. She was preceded in death by her father, Lt. Col. Phil M. DiPiero, USAF, Ret. and her husband, Lt. Col. H. David Schulze, USAF, Ret. Survivors include her mother, Lucy DiPiero; children, Debbie Dickey (Chuck), Cindy Patulea (Stephanie Hibdon), Greg Patulea (Jodi), and Jimmy Patulea (L.J.); 10 grandchildren, Charlie, David, Robbie, Bradley, Gregory, Corey, Matthew, Michael, Jason and Katie; sister, Louise (Scooter) Myers (Gary); brother, John DiPiero (Darla). Visitation will be Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:30 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Converse. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
