Dario always had a big smile for everyone he met, and his circle of friends were always glad to see him. He was a loyal and devoted member of American Legion Post 667, Universal City, Texas; he enjoyed cheering on his favorite football teams and occasionally singing karaoke there. He loved traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he and Sharon were married May 22, 2010.
He was born September 10, 1943, to Elida and Jesus Garcia in Alice, Texas. They later moved to San Antonio where he attended Burbank High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in the early 1960s, during the Vietnam Era, and served in Southeast Asia. For a period of time later, he was a movie studio prop designer in California.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elida and Jesus Garcia, his brother Alex Garcia, and his two sisters Elma Jordan and Francis Rogers. He is survived by: his devoted wife Sharon; brothers Jesse and Tony Garcia; sisters Eloise Lucas, Mary White, and Sophie Lucas; and daughters Lisa Graves and Tammie Garcia.
His family and friends will forever keep him in their fondest memories.
May God bless him and watch over his soul forever.
