Dear Joe and Maggie, I so very sorry for your loss.  At different times in my life I have thought about Annie and I have tried to find her online but up until now I have had no luck. Annie and I were in 4th and 5th grade together.  She was my best friend. We spent the night with each other, shared secrets and laughed a lot.  At an age when many children start pulling away from their parents, she lioved you both dearly and she still thought you were both cool.  I'm sad to learn about her passing and I wish I had found her sooner.

All of our memories of Annie are fond ones. From the homestead in SAT to Germany and back to SAT again. She will be sorely missed---- rest in peace Annie. When we close our eyes we hear her singing Lying Eyes with her Daddy.

Dearest Uncle Sonny, Aunt Maggie and Misty, I am so sorry for your loss. I have such wonderful memories of Anna and I over the years, especially the time we spent together over Christmas in Germany. We laughed, we sang, we danced and we had fun. A great time in my life that I truly cherish because my cousin had a special way of touching my heart. I will always miss her but I know she's at peace. Trying this again (I posted right after mom). You and Maggie have been like another set of parents to me, being the best neighbors of all. I feel so much for you and pray for your heart to heal knowing she is in a far better place now. Cayedence and I will always be there for y'all.

I'm so shocked and saddened. I remember meeting Anna at Hamilton Air Base in 1982-83. Liked her immediately. she produced us a sweet niece. Our condolences to Joe, Maggie and Misty. Another Angel receives her wings.

On April 13, 2013, our Angel, Anna M. McCann, 50 years old, passed away.  She was a resident of San Antonio, TX and died quietly in her home.  She was a graduate of Heidelberg High School in Heidelberg, Germany and was previously married to Don H. Loiler of Vacaville, CA. She is survived by her loving daughter, Misty Ann Loiler of Napa, CA and her parents, Joseph (Joe) and Margit (Maggie) of Converse, TX.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 27, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148.  Contact:  (210)658-7037 or cfh7474@gmail.com.   After the services, a Celebration of Life for Anna will be hosted by Mike, Judy and Jenny Cooney at 1618 Adobe Square, San Antonio, TX 78232.
