Timothy J. Redeker

Timothy Redeker, 68 of Union, New Jersey passed away on December 10, 2024. Tim was born on March 11, 1956 to Edward and Caroline Redeker. He graduated from Union High School in 1974 and after technical school, he spent his professional career with CIT in computer technology, retiring in 2016. Tim has two children, Jillian and Gregory Redeker.

Tim was a devoted parent and family member. He went out of his way to help family, friends, and neighbors whenever he saw a need. Marking all his relationships was his penchant for sharing a seemingly endless portfolio of jokes.

Tim was a dedicated and committed member of the First Baptist Church of Union. His pastor says, “he steadfastly served as a Deacon. He cared for orphans and widows. He was a diligent worker, a good friend, and a beloved brother in Jesus Christ. God has gained greatly in calling Tim home.”

Tim was predeceased by his wife, Deborah. He is survived by his children, Jill and Greg, his brothers Jim and Bill, and his nieces and nephews Cristen, Jonathan, Stephen, Justin, Katie, and Amanda.

A memorial service will be held on December 21 at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Union, NJ. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Union, NJ.
