Born in Irvington, NJ, and raised in both Irvington and Union, NJ, Ronald Sickles lived a life filled with dedication, hard work, and love for those around him.
A proud alumnus of Irvington High School, he was an active member of the swim team, which reflected his discipline and competitive spirit. Ronald went on to own and operate Imperial Exterminating, a business he led with integrity and pride until his retirement.
He was married to his beloved wife, Dennise Sickles, for 37 wonderful years. Together, they enjoyed countless vacations and cherished time spent with family and friends. Their bond was a testament to love, laughter, and shared adventures, and she preceded him in death.
Ronald is survived by his son, Jeffrey Sickles, and his wife, Kimberly Sickles, along with his two grandsons, Jeffrey and Tyler, who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Rogowski, and his two nephews, Mark and David Rogowski.
For over 20 years, Ronald was in a loving relationship with his girlfriend Lina Diaz with whom he shared a strong bond, enjoying family gatherings, vacations, and building a life together full of love and cherished memories.
Ronald will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, and his unwavering devotion to his family. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. The family is grateful for the love and support shown during his final days.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at McCracken Funeral Home on Friday November 15, between 6-9pm, and Saturday at 10 am followed by a graveside service at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield NJ.
