Robert E. Bongard 75 died on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Robert was raised and resided in Roselle Park most of his life. He moved to Whiting in 2016.
He was employed as a bindery worker at Acme Press in Kenilworth for many years until the company closed,
He was predeceased by his wife Gloria in 2019, and his siblings, sisters Carole Kuchera and Evelyn MacDonald and his brother Paul Bongard.
He is survived by his nieces Diane Kuhn and Dawn MacDonald, of South Plainfield. Christine Bongard and Carolyn Bongard of Ocean. A nephew Paul Bongard III of South Plainfield. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ on April 1, 2023 from 3-5pm. Cremation services will be held privately.
