Richard H. Ulrich

Richard H. Ulrich of Summit, NJ, passed away on June 26th, 2015. He was 78 years old. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July, 1, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, NJ. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 2, at 11:00 A.M at the funeral home.

Richard was born in Irvington, NJ, and grew up in Union, NJ before moving with his family to Summit, NJ where he lived for more than 40 years.

He was a member of the Air Force Reserves early in his life and worked as a Tool and Die Maker for Liberty Mold and Duplicating Co. of Springfield, NJ for 44 years before retiring in 1999. After retiring he enjoyed fishing and golfing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an active member and officer of the Bayern Verein Newark for many years.

Richard was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Ulrich; loving father of Richard P. Ulrich and his wife Krystal, Ronald Ulrich and his wife Jennifer, and Robert Ulrich and his wife Valerie. He was Opa of Kadence, Maicie, Bayley, Brendan, Charlotte, Courtney, Claire, Carl, and Eric. Brother of the late Paul Ulrich and his surviving wife Madeline. Uncle of Paul Ulrich Jr., his wife Laura and their son Paul Ulrich, III. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
