He was a sergeant of the FOP, Newark and was known to his colleagues as ‘a gentleman and a great boss.’ Probably because he didn’t make them work! He loved traveling to visit his daughter in foreign countries and vacationing in St. Martin each year with his family and friends. His passions were sports, golfing and attempting to take up yoga, but we’ll leave it at that. He loved the beach life in the summer time, crabbing, bike riding and eating his seafood. His generous and kind nature will never be forgotten. Whenever he saw someone with less than him, he would give them whatever he could. He loved eating eggplant on Thanksgiving and pepper steak at Diane’s girls’ nights and telling the same jokes over and over again thinking they were just as funny as the first time he told them. He will be forever remembered for making people laugh and bringing so much life to all the places and people he encountered.
