Marie E. Armstrong

She was born in Irvington to John and Emma Argalas. She resided in Irvington, and Newark prior to Union for over 55 years.

Marie was employed with Englehard Industries in Newark prior to working as homemaker and mother

She was a parishioner of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, a member of the Rosary Altar Society and 60+ Club, Widow & Widowers, and Golden Age Club. She was proud of her membership in the Kit Kat Club, and Suburbanaires, additionally Marie worked as the Holy Spirit parish secretary for over thirty years retiring in 2010.

She is predeceased by her loving spouse Robert E. Armstrong in 1995, and survived by son; Robert J. and wife Kathy Armstrong of Hockessin, De, two daughters; Kathleen and husband David Arminio of Union, and Theresa and husband Kenneth McNally of Jackson, and 10 grandchildren; Robert Jr. William and Kate Armstrong, Gloria and Thomas Arminio, Jessica, Christine, Kimberly, Emily and Kelly McNally.

Funeral Services will be held Thurday at 8:15 AM from McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ 07083 followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Union, NJ.

Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ. Family and Friends are invited Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
