Christopher Michael Dunne, Federal Agent for Customs and Homeland Security, and loving son and brother, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at his home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his wake on, Wednesday, July 29 at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue, in Union, NJ from 2:00 – 8:00pm. A mass will be held Thursday, July 30 at 10:30am at Holy Spirit Church Suburban Road corner of Morris Avenue in Union, NJ. Christopher was born in, Ireland and grew up in Brooklyn, NY followed by Union, NJ where he was a high school graduate for the class of 1996. Christopher had resided in Roselle Park, NJ at the time of his passing. Christopher was known for having such passion for his job as a Federal Agent. His love for timeliness, cleanliness, for his home, car and the Boston Red Sox as well as frequent trips to the Chinese buffet was always a highlight of laughter for his friends and family. Christopher loved to travel especially to the Bahamas and was always looking for new adventures to partake in. Friends and family will always remember Christopher, for his blue eyes, sly smile, wicked humor and a great but subtle laugh. He is survived by his loving parents James and Joan Dunne of Manahawkin, NJ and Georgette Hagenson of Perth Amboy, NJ. Loving brother to James J Dunne, Brian Dunne and his wife Heather and Lindsay Dunne as well as loving stepbrother to Jeffrey Lawson and Brian Lawson. Christopher will forever be remembered by countless family members, his loving girlfriend Krista Kennedy, and her two children who he showed fatherly qualities to, as well as numerous friends who he showed abundant love for. His relatives in Ireland and England will always keep Christopher in their hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations in Christopher’s memory can be sent to, Cop2Cop, a NJ enforcement suicide prevention program.
