She was the daughter of Walter Paul Hawkins and Elvira Hill. Paula was an incredible artist and effervescent spirit. She spent most of her life in Teaneck, New Jersey before marrying the love of her life Jack Crossan and moving to Weehawken. Together they created a beautiful family including their children Mark, Michael, John, Kenny, and Felicia, and their daughter Jacqueline. Paula and Jack spent their 35 year marriage filled with laughter, dancing, and travel.
Paula passed surrounded by her loved ones in Teaneck, after a long and difficult battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren Andrew, Jared, Trinity, Matthew, Mark Jr., and Lily.

A memorial service for Paula will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ 07087, which includes a prayer service from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
