Jared is survived by his mother, Corina Bellone, and sister, Sabrina Bellone. Maternal grandparents, Joseph and Irene Bellone, and great-grandmother, Irene Daniels, all of Montville Ct. He also leaves his uncle, Joseph Bellone Jr.,of Groton Ct, Aunt Veronica and Uncle Steve Mobley as well as cousins Heaven, Sage, Mason, and Addison Mobley of Waterford Ct., as well as many other friends and family.
Jared was a senior at Norwich Technical High School. As a high honor student he excelled in the fields of mathematics, pre-electrical engineering and applied electronics, and cutting edge 3D printer technology. Jared was the first student to place in the state’s SKILLS USA competition as a sophomore. He went on to place again in his junior year. It was the nurturing and encouragement of faculty and staff at Norwich Tech that allowed Jared to reach goals that peaked interest from some of the most prestigious colleges in the nation. However, he had accepted an academic scholarship from Seton Hall and was excited to attend.
He had the world in his hands. Accomplished the impossible. Showed aspergers/autism is a gift of amazing knowledge and hope for others.
Funeral arrangements are being handled with care by Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen in Montville Ct. Calling hours will be held Sunday, January 22 between the hours of 5-7pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Parish, 22 Maple Ave in Uncasville, Monday, January 23 at 11am. A reception following the service will be hosted by friends and faculty of the C.C.D. program of St. John’s and catered by Montville Social Services, Montville Senior Center, and Norwich Tech culinary department.
In Lieu of flowers, the family ask that you consider making donations towards the cost of interment. A Go Fund Me account (Jareds funeral cost) has been established.
In honor of Jared, a scholarship fund is being developed in conjunction with family, friends, and members of Norwich Tech. More information to follow.
