Robert “Bobby” Rogers, 78, was born on September 15, 1933 in Alabama. He passed away on January 20, 2012 in Tyler, Tx after a short illness. Bobby was proud to be a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and an active member of the Mason’s. He worked at Western Foundry and then retired from Kelly Springfield after 35 yrs.
He is Survived by his wife Kathryn Rogers, of Tyler, TX; Sister, Myrtle “Pat” Rosprin, of Palestine, TX; his children Robert Rogers; Ron Rogers, of Bullard, TX; Jill Klemp, of Chandler, TX; Karena Wallace, of Tyler, TX; and Andrew Buckholtz, of Whitehouse, TX; Grandchildren, Brandon Rogers, Veronica Rogers, Jenny Irwin, Chase Wallace, Megan Wallace, Baylie Buckholtz, and Anden Buckholtz; Niece, DeJuan Golman; many Great Grandchildren and close family friend, Rhonda Young. He was well loved and will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
Memorial Services for Robert “Bobby” Rogers will be held at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 23, 2012 at 4:00 pm.
