Mark was born in Tyler, TX on August 10, 1984 to Bill and Glenda Hardin. He grew up in Tyler and graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler. Mark spent most of his career working with computers as a refurbisher.
Mark enjoyed tinkering with electronics in his free time. He was a real do-it-your-selfer, and he was happy to break out the soldering iron whenever needed. He had a deep interest in sports cars, especially Corvettes. He also loved to wrench on his own cars. Other hobbies included cycling, racquetball, music and motorcycles.
Mark had a quiet and reserved demeanor. He was very thoughtful, and he loved to give gifts. He was a great listener, carefully taking in the conversation, rarely interrupting.
Mark was caring to relatives and friends. After his late mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, Mark was her primary caregiver, driving her to appointments and administering medications. He worked tirelessly to take care of her, and he stayed by her bedside in the hospital and in hospice.
