She passed away on May 2, 2020 in Tyler.
Mrs. Smith was born on September 18, 1942 in Eddyville, Iowa to the late A. D. and Lisa Mitchell. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being in the outdoors and riding four wheelers.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Weldon Paul Smith; son Troy Wayne Smith; granddaughters Jenifer Brown and husband Tyler of Tyler and Amanda Hickman of Tyler; great-grandsons Brantley Watson and Carson Brown.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her sister Latricia Collum; brother Jimmy Ray Coe; daughter-in-law Denise Smith and brother-in-law Norman Collum.
A visitation service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
