On Friday, July 7th, as the sun was about to set, Linda peacefully passed away at home with family at her side at 7:48pm. Her work here was done and she happily left when the Lord called her home to begin her eternal life with Him.
She was a loving wife, amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She was also very special to her niece and nephew. She will forever be loved, missed, and remembered. We will stand taller and stronger knowing she is now watching over us – always believing.
She is survived by one sister: Mickey Ashcraft, 3 daughters: Debra Randolph, Beth Sikes, Kaye Cox, 7 grandchildren: James Cowart, Amanda Cowart, Leann Gurrusquieta, Curt Sikes, Eric Sikes, Justin Sikes, Kristin Cox. 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She is also survived by a special niece Sandra Ashcraft and a special nephew Jerry (Bubba) Ashcraft. She was preceded in death by her loving husband J.C. Luman Sr., her mother Lora Weaver, her father John Gonzales, her aunt Lou Cox, and a beloved great granddaughter Emma Sikes.
Pallbearers will be James Cowart, Curt Sikes, Eric Sikes, Justin Sikes, Diego Gurrusquieta, and Colton Cowart. Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Gurrusquieta, Matthew Cowart, Alton Gurrusquieta, Samuel (Bubba) Sikes, J.J. Sikes, Isaiah Sikes, Dominic Waldron, Joshua Waldron, and Kaleb Cox.
Her service will be held at Tyler Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, July 20th at 10:00 a.m.
