Linda was born in Dallas, Texas on September 19, 1948 to Troys Melvin and Frances Josephine Petrea Molloy. She graduated from John Tyler High School and went on to graduate from Tyler Junior College. After college, Linda became a dialysis nurse, a Home Health Care Manager for nurses (retired), and a weekend store manager at the Discovery Science Place in Tyler (retired). When Linda wasn't volunteering her time to organizations around Tyler, she enjoyed playing games with her family like Solitaire, Chicken Foot and UNO. She loved angels and beautiful flowers like roses, but most of all she loved her family.
Linda is survived by her husband James (Jim) Arthur Caldwell; daughter Crystal Adelle Hahn (Donovan George); son Daniel Ryan Caldwell (Hannah Zweib); grandchildren Christian Taylor Hahn, Christian (Chris) Michael Beggs, and Benjamin (Ben) Wade Fry-Caldwell; sisters-in-law Anne Louise Caldwell and Sheri Suzanne Kirk; nieces and nephews-in-law Ervin Dwayne Caldwell, Jr., Sean Britt Caldwell (Diana Santiago De Caldwell), Bryant Caldwell (Jenny) and kids Leigha and Zee, Garin Caldwell, Sabrina Piper Kirk Caldwell, and Mitchell Alexander Caldwell.
Linda is predeceased by her parents Troys (1982) and Frances (2011), and brothers-in-law Jim Lorenza Caldwell, II (2021) and Ervin Dwayne Caldwell (2023).
A time of visitation will be held on Friday, April 12th from 6-8pm at Lloyd James Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Lloyd James Funeral Home on Saturday, April 13th from 1-2pm with burial following at Edom Cemetery in Edom, Texas.
