Kristen Anne Dickerson

Kristen Anne Curry Dickerson, 42, of Whitehouse, TX passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening surrounded by her loving family and friends at Christus Mother Frances Hospital. Kristen was a devoted mother to her three children, Blake, Kinlee, and Piper, who were the light of her life. She shared a special bond with her mother, Carol Curry, father, Jon Curry, brother, Clay Curry, and treasured the closeness of her best friend, Jill Key, Tyler, TX, and cousin, Kent M. Whitaker II. She will also be deeply missed by her uncles, Roy and Kent Whitaker, and husband, Matt Dickerson.

Kristen's life was marked by her warmth, kindness, and love for her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, especially trips to the beach. As a teenager, Kristen was an active member of Episcopal Youth Community at Christ Episcopal Church. She enjoyed mission trips and functions of EYC.

She was known for her feistiness, vibrant spirit, affection for her pets, compassion and unwavering strength in the face of challenges. She left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

Kristen graduated from All Saints Episcopal High School, May 2000, UT Tyler with a Bachelor's of Arts in Mass Communications, 2007, Masters of Arts in Mass Communications, 2011, and a Teacher's Certificate thereafter.

Kristen was an organ donor, giving the gift of life and hope to others in need at the time of her passing. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her and she will be forever cherished for her love, laughter, and steadfast dedication to her family.

A memorial service for Kristen will be held on Monday, December 23rd at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. The family will accept guests at the funeral home at 1:00pm prior to the service. Friends and family are invited to attend to honor her memory and the legacy she leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests making a charitable donation to an organization of their choosing in Kristen's name.
