Kenneth passed away on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021 in Tyler. He was born May 9, 1951 in Tyler to the late Ken Maynard Warren and Bobbie Jean Turner Warren. He grew up in the Lindale and Red Springs area. He attended school in Lindale and played football in Middle School. He worked for years with his father, who taught him to be a bricklayer. This was the work he enjoyed until he became disabled. He found God and attended Friendly Baptist Church where he made a lot of new friends. When his father-in-law became ill he moved in with William and Shirley Downs Sr. and assisted Shirley with William’s care. After William Sr. passed away and Shirley was unable to drive, he would drive her to her doctor’s appointments and stores. Every Friday he loved picking up Shirley and spending the entire day with her. They would shop garage sales, looking for unique items for friends and family.
He is survived by a daughter, Christie Warren; two sisters, Dorothy Curbow and Brenda Gilpen; a brother, Ken M. Warren, Jr.; former wife, Terri Warren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
