Mrs. Brewer was born April 29, 1930, in Silver Lake to the late Columbus and Annie Brown, and passed away Sept. 15, 2010, in Carthage where she had lived for the past four years. Mrs. Brewer was a former resident of Tyler where she attended Tyler Tabernacle and worked as a medical aide. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ottis Ray Brewer, and her brothers, John Brown and Buddy Brown.
She is survived by sons, Larry Davidson and his wife Sarah of Carthage, Roger Davidson of New Summerfield, Gary Brewer and his wife Debbie of Chandler; daughter, Jeannie Pierson of Hot Springs, Ark.; sisters, Effie Harris and her husband Junior of Grand Saline, Faye Stephens of Terrell; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday 9 a.m. until service time at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.
