Services for Johnny Eugene Stoker, 72 of Chapel Hill, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022 in the Chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Ward officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service in the Chapel. A private family burial will be at Williams Cemetery.
Johnny was born John D. Coleman on February 13, 1950 in Jessieville, AR. Johnny was lucky enough to be loved by two sets of parents, his birth parents, Joseph and Earlene Coleman and his adoptive parents, Gene and Della Stoker. Johnny grew up in Chapel Hill, Texas and later made it his home. Johnny was a retired Engineer from Southern Pacific Railroad.
Johnny was preceded in death by both sets of parents and three brothers, Clarence Harris, Donnie Fowler, and Ernie Coleman. Johnny is survived by the love of his life, Sue Stoker McLemore; his only daughter, Michelle Valen; son-in-law, Justin Valen and two grandsons. He also leaves behind his siblings, Eddie Coleman, Jim Brookshire, Pearlene Harlan, and Brenda Harlan and their families.

Pallbearers are Kelly Plunkett, Gary Huff, Charles Wilson, Charles Tate, Gary Christian and Glenn Huff. Honorary pallbearer is David Turner.
