Graveside services for Edna Earl Adams, 85, of Murchison, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 6, 2014 in Tyler Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Tim Roberts officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Edna passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014, in Tyler.
She was born on November 25, 1928, in Noonday to Earl Eugene and Bessie Marie Sulser Hoskin.
Edna was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. She resided at Callender Lake since 1981. During that time she and her husband served on various community organizations including the Volunteer Fire Department. She enjoyed participating in the Community Ceramics Club. She also enjoyed all sorts of crafts and scrapbooking and really enjoyed going to the boats.
She is survived by her sons, Mike Adams of Kingwood and Pat Adams and his wife, Stephanie of Chandler; grandchildren, Michael Cody Adams, Sabrina Kinch, and Patricia Barnes and her husband, Travis; and great-grandchildren, Maria, Tori, Hailey, Olivia and Kelsey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Fagan Adams; grandson, David Adams and sister, Nan Adams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Royce Jackson, Roy Sulser, Dick Sulser, Scott Sparkman, Tom Sparkman and James Sparkman.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the funeral home.
