Dorothy Bell Shanks

Memorial Services for Dorothy Manning Shanks age 77 of Larue will be 11am Thursday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Shanks was born on August 23, 1939 in Pineville KY to Andrew and Flora Agnes Gibson Manning and passed away on July 14, 2017 in Larue. Formerly of Dallas she had lived in the Tyler area for 20 years where she was a caring and loving nurse to her patients at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital, and was a Beloved Mother and Grandmother to her family. Survivors include her husband of 7 years Larry Shanks , Children: Debbie Lynn Manning Tucker, Lovella Ruth Shanks, Randy Keith Goucher & Linda Goucher, Joseph Frank Goucher and spouse Christy, Georgia Gayle Small and spouse Shane, Vikki Faye Arcila and spouse Humberto, Michael Duane Goucher and spouse Denise; Brenda Kaye O’Malley, Daniel Thomas Goucher and spouse Marla, Timothy Brian Goucher. Grandchildren: Ryan Hagelin, Andrea Mobley, Joshua Stroude and spouse, Jason Stroud, Jeremy Stroude, Johnathan Stroude and spouse Jenna Stroude, Amber Ewalt and spouse, Shannon Goucher, Chad Goucher and spouse, David Goucher, Daniel Goucher, Ashley Clark and spouse, Joanna Kerby, Tiffany Herbert, Richard Beak and spouse, Robbie Robbie Beak; 12 great-grandchildren; and sisters: Geneva Powell, Hattie Cox Manning, Andrea Fauls and spouse Robert. Mrs. Shanks was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law: Claude Powell, great-granddaughter: Devany Stroude , Clarence George Goucher and Charles Dwayne Goucher.
