Dolores W Golden

Dolores Golden, 77, of Tyler, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at her home in Tyler. Mrs. Golden, a concessions manager for an auto auction company, was born on February 4, 1936 in Tyler, TX to Aubrey and Juanita Higginbotham Ward. She was a lifelong Tyler resident and was an active member of the Park Heights Baptist Church. She married her husband, Marvin on December 21, 1951 in Tyler. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Patsy Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Marvin J. Golden of Tyler; daughter, Denise Golden of Tyler; sons, Harold Glenn Golden of Tyler, Ron Golden of Tyler; sisters, Virginia Taylor of Tyler, Gail Thompson of Emerald Island, NC; brother, James Ward of Ben Wheeler; one grandson, Darrell, and his wife, Dina and three great grandchildren, Michael, Isaac and Brittney. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM, Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler; with Reverend James Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow at Tyler Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
