Annette Colley Whitt, 88 of Tyler Texas sadly left us on December 20, 2023. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023 from 6-8 pm at Lloyd James Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Mt. Vernon Cemetery on Thursday Dec. 28, 2023 at 11:00 am.
Annette was born on Dec. 22, 1934, in Winfield, TX to Alton and Jeanette Colley and was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. For 27 years she was a military wife and enjoyed volunteering helping others throughout their military career.
She was married to Joe Bryce Whitt for 65 years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafting, reading, cooking, gardening, and traveling with her family.
Annette is survived by daughters, Kay Cox, Katherine Johnson and husband Bob; son, Mark Whitt and wife, Charlene; six grandchildren, and 10 great- grandchildren.
