Karen Stewart went to be with our Lord on June 7, 2018 with her family by her side. She was 77.
Karen was born on May 10, 1941 to Guy and Veda Hall Lattimer in Twin Falls, Idaho. She grew up in Eden and Twin Falls, Idaho and often shared her memories of growing up under the family grocery store. She attended Twin Falls High School and graduated in 1959. She married Gary R. Miller and had two children from this marriage, Terry and Lori. She later got divorced, and married the love of her life, Bud Stewart. They had one child, Rick. She was employed at Welch music as a book keeper and upon retiring after many years, she then took the role of a Grandmother and later Great Grandma. Karen had a deep love for our Lord and Savior. She was a proud member of the Twin Falls Baptist Church where she served as a deacon. She had a passion for the arts and could always be found attending musicals, plays and concerts with her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud Stewart, parents and brother, Ken Lattimer. She is survived by her children, Terry (Misa) Miller of Filer, Idaho; Lori (Roger) James of Fallon, Nevada and Rick Stewart of Nampa, Idaho. She leaves 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, dog Daisy Mae and cat, Trouble. She will truly be missed.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at White Mortuary, 136 4th Ave. East, Twin Falls. Burial will follow at Twin Falls Cemetery. A viewing for family and friends will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the services at White Mortuary.
