Charles Murl Lattin was born July 13, 1924 in Wisner, Nebraska, to Roy and Flora Mae Lattin. He went home to family, friends and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, February 14, 2011, with family by his side. Dad moved from Nebraska with his family in the mid-thirties settling in the Hansen area before moving to Kimberly, where he graduated from high school in 1942. In 1947, Dad married Geraldine(Gerry)Hill on June 29th at his parents home in Kimberly. To their union was born Ivan in 1949, Vernon in 1954 and Donald in 1957. He also worked hard at his greatest passion, falling trees in the South Hills to sell as firewood to many in the entire Magic Valley. Dad was a true "Good Neighbor" to all he met, and many benefitted from his expertise in many things. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Gaylord, Eugene, and Lyle Lattin; sisters Dorothy Persons, Charlotte Jauregui and Lois Hall. Dad is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Geraldine(Gerry)of Kimberly, sons Ivan(Sherill) of Stevensville, Montana; Vern(Debbie) , and Don(Renee), all of Twin Falls; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; his sister Laurabelle Brown of Twin Falls, brother Harold(Caroline)Lattin of Mountain Home, and sister-in-law Maxine Smith of Boise, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dad loved his family very much, and was loved tremendously in return. He will be greatly missed.
