Wayne Ray Olmstead

Wayne Ray Olmstead, age 63, of Duncanville, Ala., died June 24, 2018 at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Old Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be two hour prior to services at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Spud" Olmstead and Jennie "Betty" Eaton; sons, Logan Ray Olmstead and Adam Wayne Olmstead; and sister, Donna F. Davis.

Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth "Marie" Hambrick (Kyle); sons, Michael Wayne Olmstead (Sidney), Logan Black and Bentley Olmstead; grandchildren, Conner Olmstead, Alivia Hambrick, Eathen Kyzer, Destiny Olmstead and Preston Olmstead; companion, Kayla Black; sister, Debra Smith (Daniel); brother, Brian Keith Eaton; and many other family members to cherish his memory.

Wayne worked his entire life as a carpenter, eventually starting his own business.

Pallbearers will be James Gann, Mike Gann, William Gann, Jacob Eaton, Toby Kizziah and Billy Smith.
