Thomas Edward "TE" Lamb Jr.

Thomas Edward "T.E." Lamb Jr., age 73, of Eutaw, Alabama passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023. A visitation for T.E. will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Eutaw First Baptist Church followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM with Rev. Gene Dockery officiating. He will be laid to rest in Mesopotamia Cemetery, Eutaw, Alabama.

T.E. was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary Lamb; maternal grandparents, Thomas C. Williams and Mary Florence Williams; paternal grandparents, Thomas "Eddie" Lamb,Sr. and Emma Cynthia McGraw Lamb; and special aunt and uncle, Rhina and Rufus Hayes.

He is survived by his sister, Joy Hann (John); nephew, Brandon Pickell (Amanda); great-niece and great-nephew, Lauren and Logan; and cousins, Pam Holliman, Neal Holliman (Tracy), Charles Holliman, and Jody Hayes (Pam).

T.E. worked for, and retired from, the Alabama Department of Transportation. T.E. lived to lay down his life to help others. His motto was, "If you need me, let me know, now. I will help you any way that I can!" T.E. lived the Golden Rule; he treated others with much respect. T.E. was loving, joyful, patient, faithful, kind and deeply good. T.E. made the world a better place.

Pallbearers will be Jody Hayes, Charles Holliman, Brandon Pickell, Logan Pickell, Joe Carroll, and Michael Colson.

Honorary pallbearers are Kathy Bellenger, Trey Deas, all Crimson Tide buddies, and the medical staff of UAB Hospital 6th Floor CCC.
