Sharon Kay Perkins

A visitation for Sharon will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Keith Moyer Watkins and Mary Carolyn Watkins. She is survived by her spouse, Bobby Dale Perkins Sr. of Duncanville, AL; Daughter, Shannon Elyse Hernandez (husband Favian); Son, SSG Keith Garret Henley (wife Anastacia); Grandchildren, Jacob, Gabriel and Maryana Hernandez and Sophia and Austin Henley. Sharon was born in Elwood, Indiana and lived in Anderson, Indiana until she moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She worked as a CNP for Tuscaloosa County Schools until she retired this year. Sharon was a friend to everyone and loved to laugh and make people smile. She touched many hearts during her life because she always showed everyone care and tried to help everyone she could. She loved her husband and children and lived for her grandchildren. When her children were young the house was always full of all of the neighborhood children that she loved as her own.
