Rickey H. Bailey, age 70, of Tuscaloosa passed away April 13, 2024 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Rickey was born July 27, 1953 in Georgia and moved, as a small child, to Dadeville, Alabama.
After graduating from Dadeville High School, Rickey began his almost 50 year career with Asplundh Tree Experts where he worked his way up to Vice President Regional Manager. He was an active member of Church of the Highlands where he felt blessed to serve as a member of the Dream Team Parking Team. Rickey donated to many charitable organizations and had a special love in his heart for The Wounded Warrior Project. He, and anyone that knew him, would always describe him as a “Simple Man.”
Rickey is preceded in death by his parents, Randall and Shirley Morris and his sister Debra Bailey Balsamo. He is survived by his wife, Dana Bailey; daughter, Kayla AlQahtani (Khalid); sons, Chad Bailey, Jake Bailey, and Preston Crone; sisters, Wanda Williams (Charles), Gloria Shipman and Stormi Gates (Curtis), loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews and Luke, his cherished Lab companion.
Celebration of Life funeral services will be held Friday, April 19, 2024 beginning at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd E Tuscaloosa, Al 35405. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until service time. Bro. Kyle Fessler officiating services.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Findley, Randy Parham, Jimmy Rumker, Joe Tinsley, Brian Schlatter and Robert Finnen.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of the Highlands, Tuscaloosa Campus.
