Raymond Porter

He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Porter; brother, Richard Clyde Porter; sister, Phyllis Clements; grandparents, Marvin and Frances Porter and David and Bessie Caples; niece, Tiffany Porter; mother-in-law, Martha Ann Johnston; brother-in-law, Rusty Johnston; sister-in-law, Stephanie Johnston.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Angela "Angie" Porter; mother, Margie Clements; father-in-law, Jack Johnston; sisters, Patti Meyer (Steve) and Paula Langham (Keith); brother, Tommy Porter (Tammy); nieces, Kelly Rhodes (Jeff), Tara McKinney (Matt), Kayla Bazzell (Jeff), Kimberly Gibson (Marshall); nephews, Chris Thomas (Kimberly) and Dan Thomas; close family friend, Mack Dockter; great-nieces, Addi Cook, Hudson Bazzell, Whatley Bazzell, Reese Gibson, Porter McKinney, Anne Griffin Thomas, and Blakley Thomas; great-nephews, Daniel Thomas, Patrick Thomas, Ridge Thomas, Gage Gibson, and Sheffield McKinney.

Raymond loved to fish, spend time in the mountains, and he loved his family. He retired from the Alabama Department of Transportation. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life for Raymond will be held at First Baptist Clinton 86 Co Rd 117, Eutaw, AL 35462 on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 12 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Clinton, Greene County EMS, and Clinton Volunteer Fire Department.
