The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. on March 27, 2025, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home and Memory Hill Gardens. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. David Grayson presiding.

Mrs. Turner was predeceased in death by her father, Charles Douglas Thigpen, and brothers Charles Micah Thigpen and Clifton Matthew Thigpen. She is survived by her husband John Patterson Turner, daughters Kimberly Nichol Watkins Brookwood AL., Crystin Micalah Allen (Garrett) Vance AL, son John-Douglas Ray Watkins Locust Fork AL., sister Stacie Michelle Powell (Lee) Tuscaloosa AL. mother: Connie Faye Thigpen, grandchildren Braydan Harris, Kaiden Harris, Grayson Harris, Baylee Hurst, and Eleanor Allen.

We honor the life of our mom, a truly amazing woman. Everyone fortunate enough to know her felt the love, compassion, and happiness she brought. She taught us to forgive, give grace, trust in the Lord, and take it one day at a time, We hold on to the memories of the loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and Nana you are.

Serving as pallbearers are John Turner, JD Watkins, Christopher Thigpen, Joshua Powell, and Bryan Montgomery. Honorary pallbearers are Micah Thigpen, Braydan Harris, and Kaiden Harris.
