Linda Howard Henson

Linda Howard Henson, age 74, of Holman Community in Tuscaloosa County, went to be with her lord and savior on October 20, 2021. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021 in Memory Hill Gardens with pastor Gene Dawkins officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home directing. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She is preceded in death by her father, William S. Howard; mother, Ruby D. Howard; sister, Betty Sue Howard; and brother, William G. Howard.

She is survived by her son, Mark A. Tucker; grandson, Hayden Tucker; sister, Darlene Sanford (James); brother, Charles A. Howard (Christy); many nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews; and special friends, Ronnie Edge, Elaine Tharpe, Joan Marlowe, Shirley Camp, Amy McDaniel, Gene Williamson, Beverly Clarke.

Linda loved all of her family and friends very much. She enjoyed walking, eating out, dancing, crocheting, camping, her plants/flowers, her pets especially, and also reading the Bible. She had a heart of gold, always in good spirits, and always seen the best in life. She was loved by many she will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Wilson,Tim Junkin, David Williams, and Jonathan Williams.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Ford Simpson, Dr. Debell, Dr. Evan's cancer center, Dr. Asum, and TSICU 2nd floor DCH Regional Medical Center.
