John W. Bradley

Known to family and friends as Billy, he was born August 26, 1945, in Tuscaloosa, AL as the only child of William Obed Bradley and Myra Moore Bradley, both of whom predeceased him.

Billy loved the Lord and was a lifelong and faithful member of Gilgal Baptist Church of Duncanville. He was a 1963 graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School, where he was remembered as one of the fastest members of the track team. Billy was a passionate Crimson Tide fan and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of local history. He had a remarkable photographic memory and could remember intricate details and dates of events which spanned his lifetime. Billy was a patriot and had a deep and abiding love for his country and was passionate about his religious and political beliefs. He never shied away from sharing these beliefs with others. Billy will be remembered as a loving son and caring friend.

A graveside interment service will be held at the Gilgal Baptist Church Cemetery, 3000 Bear Creek Road E, Duncanville, AL on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bart Latner officiating and Memory Chapel directing.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gilgal Baptist Church 1856 Building Fund, 3000 Bear Creek Road East, Duncanville, AL 35456.
