Jimmy Hoyt Williamson

Jimmy Hoyt Williamson, age 71, of Chelsea, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center. A visitation will be held on Saturday July 02, 2022, from 9:45 - 10:45 AM at Memory Chapel Funeral of Tuscaloosa, immediately followed by Graveside Funeral Services at 11:00AM from Memory Hill Gardens, Masonic Garden. Arrangements are entrusted to Memory Chapel, a Dignity Memorial provider.

Mr. Williamson was born March 25, 1951, to the late Robert and Opal Williamson. He was diligent, always working to provide for his family. He was faithful, always caring for his wife throughout her life, and ensuring that she was cared for during bouts of illness. A steadfast family man and a great Dad, he led by example showing his family of how to provide, care for and be present for each other. Jimmy was an avid sports fan and proud supporter of his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide. A Christian by faith, Jimmy attended the Church of Brookhills.

In addition to his parents Mr. Williamson is preceded in death by his wife Judy Williamson. He is survived by one daughter Amy (Stephen) Jordan of Auburn, AL; two sons: Jeremy (Erica) Williamson of Seattle, WA and Josh Williamson of Chelsea, AL; grandchildren: Emily (Tripp) Hunter, Zachary Jordan, Ethan Jordan, Jacob Jordan, Noah Jordan and Ira Williamson; sister Rose and brother Harry.
