The family will receive friends at 10:00 am on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405, with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with the committal service following
Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Buford Edward Inglis, her parents- Taft and Jewel Dill, Siblings - Edward, Tom, Ross Dill and Lucille Smith.
She is survived by her two sons Tom (Wanda) Inglis of Oakman, AL, and Gary (Kathy) Inglis of Orlando, FL.; Brother- Ralph (Sharon) Dill of Louisville, KY; Grandchildren; Jeremy (Whitney) Inglis of Northport; Jake (Kaleigh) Inglis of Jasper; Chris (Crystal) Inglis of Northport; Mike (Becca) Inglis of Florida; and Sarah (Blake) Folsom of Georgia; Great Grands- Penny, Gideon, Asher, Aspen, Zelda, Michael Inglis, and Bo Baker; Dear to her heart friends - Kathy Lancaster, Wayne and Jan Rushing, Jerry and Suzanne Tidmore and Rena Dill.
Eleanor retired from the University of Alabama where she worked in the accounts office. She was an avid bowler winning several awards. She also loved teaching Sunday school, especially the Singles class at Northport Baptist Church where she was a faithful member for over 50 years.
In her spare time, she loved tending to her roses and feeding the birds. She was a Huge fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and Braves baseball.
Eleanor Always put GOD first in all she did and knew His words to be True and Forthcoming; ready to leave her temporary home for her eternal home with her Heavenly Father.
