Graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 1st, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Todd Burkhalter officiating with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations a Dignity Memorial Provider directing.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Josie Hayes, William and Rosie Rogers, parents, James Thomas and Eula Mae Rogers and brothers, John William and James Edward Rogers.
He is survived in death by his daughter, Julie Michelle Stone (Tyler), son, James Tyler Rogers, grandchildren, Emma Grace Stone, James “Sawyer” Stone, “Elliott” Brooke Stone, “Everliegh” Quinn Stone and “Aubree” James Rogers.
Billie was born and raised in Cottondale Alabama, he graduated from Brookwood High School, retired from AT&T and served in the Army.
Pallbearers include Mark Rogers, Michael Rogers, Tommy Rogers, Jeff Blackerby, Elliott Robbins, Jeremiah Webster, and Jeremy Vaugnn.
Honorary pallbearers include South Central Bell (AT&T) employees, Tuscaloosa VA. Medical Center; Dr. Boyd, T-Town Travelers, Paul Patterson, Telephone Pioneers of America and Alabama Dutch-oven Society.
