Ruth Mae Miranda

Ruth M. Miranda was born in Rohnerville, CA. She was raised in Lolita, CA. She married Manuel Miranda, Jr. on June 6, 1942 in Reno, NV. They were married for 39 years. They moved to Turlock, CA in 1950, where they raised a son and two daughters. Ruth worked at many places during her life, including Patterson Frozen Foods, K-Mart and at Dr. Collins' office. Ruth was a very generous and loving person, who would give you her last dollar if you needed it. She will be greatly missed. She was an avid bingo player, reader of books and she loved to play cards, especially Cribbage. She was very proud to be involved in Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California, where she served as a past President of Club #27 (Stanislaus). She was also involved in the UPPEC, SPRSI and SES. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Miranda, Jr. She is survived by her son, Manuel Dennis Miranda (Helen) of Georgia, her daughter, Linda Wright of Modesto, and RuthAnne Lemos (Gene Santos) of San Diego, Grandchildren: Suzanne Lemos of Modesto, CA; Jeff Miranda of Idaho; Philip Lemos of Roswell, GA; and James Miranda (Sandy) of Gainesville, GA. Also great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Miranda, Tyler Miranda, Abigail Miranda & J. T. Miranda of Gainesville, GA.

Combined Service of Rosary and Mass-10:00 AM, Tuesday, February10, 2015 to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 709 J Street, Modesto, CA.

Burial will be following the Mass to St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, 1141 Scenic Dr., Modesto. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the personnel at Manteca Care & Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care given to our mother for the last two years.
