Maria Celina Nunes

March 31, 1931 ~ March 26, 2012

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Oakdale California, She was 80 years of age.

She was a native of Ribeira Seca, Sao Jorge, Azores.

Mrs. Nunes was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church of Oakdale, Prayer Group “Falls of the Cross” and Journey Christianity.

She love to crochet, cook, pets, also loves getting together with family and friends.

Survivors:

6 Sons; Jose Amaral and wife Maria of Orlando, Antonio Amaral of Turlock, Armelim Amaral of Farmington, Emanuel Amaral, Rogerio Amaral, Jeremias Amaral, all of Oakdale.

3 Daughters; Bernadette Silva and her husband Manuel of Hilmar, Angelina Nunes and her husband Edward of Escalon, Margarida Nunes of Hughson.

Sister, Maria Herminia Avila and a brother Jose Renaldo Nunes, both of Napa

12 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren

Preceded in death by her daughter Delcina Amaral and her son Joao Amaral

Visitation; 2:00 – 8:00PM, Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel

286 W. Main St., Turlock, California.

Combination of Rosary and Funeral Mass, 1:30 PM, Friday, March 30, at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church,

1225 Olive Ave., Oakdale, California.

Burial followed Saint John’s Catholic Cemetery, 17871 Carrolton Rd., Escalon California

Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, in charge of the arrangements.
