Manuel is survived by; son Lawrence Rocha (Mona) of Turlock; daughter Teresa Bare (Max) of Hilmar; daughter Diolinda "Dee" Machado of Turlock; and brother Frank J. Rocha of Turlock. Mr. Rocha also leaves behind seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren to honor his memory.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ledia Rocha in 2002; son Clarence J. Rocha in 1977; sister Mary Espinola in 1981; and his parents Mary E. Alves and Manuel C. Rocha.
Manuel was a dedicated parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock, California for many years and served as the past president of the Crows Landing Pentecost Association in 1962 and the St. Anthony Festa in Patterson, California. He was also a member of I.P.F.E.S. in Tracy, California.
A visitation for Mr. Manuel J. Rocha will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California. A recitation of the rosary followed by a funeral mass will occur at 9:30 AM on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church: 2602 S. Walnut Road, Turlock, California. He will be laid to rest following the services at Turlock Memorial Park: 575 N. Soderquist Road, Turlock, California.
Serving as pallbearers are Charlie Bare, Manuel Bare, Michelle Mason, Daniel Garcia, Mark Machado and Marlene Machado. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Emily Bare, Michael Bare, Timmy Bare, Manuel Bare Jr., Kylee Bare, Derek Mason, Mikaela Mason, Logan Garcia and Mariah Huesca.
