Louie James Hamilton

He was saved by faith in Christ at the age of 17 and was a member of Cornerstone Covenant Church, Turlock for 23 years.

He was a grocery store clerk and Manager for Safeway for 35 years. In his spare time he was passionate about building and fixing just about anything; he was known as "Louie the Fix-it man".

Louie is survived by his wife of 74 years, Avis E. Hamilton; his daughter Elaine L. Nuzzi (Frank) of Waterford, CA; and his son Glenn J. Hamilton of Modesto, CA; his granddaughter Cynthia DeGraff(Jeff) of Turlock, CA, his grandson Robert Hamilton (Heather Smith) of Seattle WA, his great grandson Justin DeGraff (Page)of Coldwell, ID and his great granddaughter Haley DeGraff of Turlock, CA. Louie also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Louie was preceded in death by his parents George W. Hamilton and Sallie E. (Edwards) Hamilton; his daughter Mariann Hamilton; his sister Della Bolter and his brother John E. Hamilton.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Cornerstone Covenant Church, 4105 Crowell Rd, Turlock, CA 95382.
