José Oliveira

José is survived by his daughter Susy Gomes (Joey) of Delhi, their children Devan, Jenna and Emma Gomes, his son David Oliveira (Maria), their children Everett and Hazel Oliveira and their son José Alvaro Oliveira (Angela) of São Jorge, their children Diana and Carolina Oliveira. José is also survived by his brothers Fernando Oliveira of Modesto and Antonio Oliveira of São Jorge, Açores.

José was preceded in death by his wife Maria A. Oliveira and his parents José B. Oliveira and Isabel Silveira Oliveira.

José was a member of Modesto Portuguese Pentecost Association (M.P.P.A) where he served as President in 1991 - 1992.

A Visitation for José will be held Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.

A Rosary Service will occur Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 26, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 709 J. Street, Modesto, CA 95354.

Mr. Oliveira will be laid to rest Monday, June 26, 2023 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, 1141 Scenic Drive, Modesto, CA 95350.

Serving as pallbearers are Joey Gomes, Devan Gomes, Joseph Oliveira, Fernando Oliveira, Francisco Oliveira and Mike Obrien.
