Alice Silva Amaral

On December 8, 2017, Alice Silva Amaral, age 86, passed away at her home in Hickman, California. She was born in Ribeira Seca, São Jorge, Açores and lived in Hickman for the last 41 years.

Alice leaves behind 2 sons, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, as well as her sisters: Maria Espirito Santo Azevedo of Watsonville, and Maria Hirondina Luis of Denair. Alice also leaves behind many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband Serafim Amaral, her parents, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.

Alice was a long-time member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock, and St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Hughson.

A visitation will be from 2:00-5:00 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main Street Turlock, California. Afterward, there will be a rosary at 7:00 PM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church: 2602 S. Walnut Road Turlock, California.

A funeral mass will be held for Alice Silva Amaral at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Alice will be laid to rest immediately following the mass at Turlock Memorial Park: 575 N. Soderquist Road Turlock California.
