James Robert Land age 89 passed away peacefully Oct. 5, 2013 at home with family by his side. James was a tail gunner in WWII. Mr. Land had extensive Law Enforcement experience with the Thurston Co. Sheriff’s Office; WA. State Patrol and culminating his service as the Chief of Police for the City of Lacey. A memorial service to celebrate James life will be held 1pm Sat.
