Charles Elden Brown (July 19, 1928 – March 27, 2020) 91 years of age. He was born in Oakland, CA to Perry and Laura Brown and his last home was Olympia, WA.
Charles served in the Navy at the end of WWII and was an Olympia City Police Officer until being injured in a Motor Cycle accident while on duty. He retired from the Department of Natural Resources in 1987 and he and his wife Celesta Brown began to follow his dream of traveling. In all the RV parks he was liked and respected helping other travelers whether it was fan belt problem or information on a recall. After seven years snow birding from Alaska to Key West, they settled in Arizona to enjoy the sun.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Dorothy Cole, his two sons Ronald Brown and Todd Beardslee. He is survived by his wife and daughters Charleen Smith (David), Kari Beardslee, daughter in law Sandy Brown and his bonus daughter Viki Barnes along with 8 Grandchildren, 17 Great grandchildren and 10 great – great grandchildren.
